The Hotel Balbi is a family hotel located in the central university area, in a historic palazzo characterized by frescoes and parquet.
It is located in University Area near (200 m.) the Genoa Porta Principe railway station, 500 meters from the trade fair area, which includes the acquarium,the children`s city and the conference center and 800 meters from the ferry terminal and the Ge-ovest toll road exit.
It is equipped with a breakfast room with bar, internet point and fax service.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT AMEX CREDIT CARDS AS GUARANTEE.
The hotel offers single, double, triple and family rooms. Every room is equipped with provate bathroom, hairdryer, minibar, tv sat, air conditioning and direct dial phone.

Family Hotel Balbi En effet, il n'y a aucun service de bagages car une seule personne est présente lors de votre arrivée. Vous ne pouvez pas garer votre voiture à moins de la laisser sur un parking à plus de 100 m de l'hotel avec un supplément de 17euros la nuit et laisser vos clés à la personne qui est présente dans le garage aucune sécurité, les personnes sont discourtoises, vous devez monter trois étages à pied avant d'accéder aux chambres, l'hotel se trouve dans une rue très active.

Family Hotel Balbi L'hotel Balbi est en étage et il n'y a pas d'ascenceur. C'est quand même un inconvénient de taille lorsque l'on vient avec des bagages lourds, ce qui était notre cas. Il me paraitrait normal de signaler cette caractéristique de l'hotel. Mais pour le reste tout était satisfaisant et le personnel est extrêmement courtois et efficace.

Family Hotel Balbi Hotel owners were very friendly, professional and spoke excellent English. Fantastic location, if getting off at the 'El Principe' station in Genova. About 3 mins walk.

Family Hotel Balbi Very conveniently located near train station and within easy walking distance of old town and port. Breakfast included in the price. Bedrooms with frescoes on the ceiling.

Family Hotel Balbi It was nice, but the entrance does not feel like you are going to a hotel as it is a part of a building so we felt like we were going to a red light hotel.People were friendly and my mum stayed there one year before me and recomended it to me because of the good location and painted celings.

Family Hotel Balbi We found the Balbi Hotel excellent value for price. Also an excellent location in Genoa. Although hauling our luggage up the stairs was hard work, but just another travelling experience.

Family Hotel Balbi The hotel is situated quite close to Genoa Piazza Principe station and is ideal for any body interested in exploring Genoa. The staff are very warm and friendly and the facilities are quite good considering the price inclusive of breakfast.

Family Hotel Balbi Located on fairly busy one-way street and satnav directed us to the wrong end ! Possible to park at kerb-side for check-in but need to haul luggage up several flights of stairs to reception. Fortunately, the receptionist helped us out. No on-site parking - used local covered parking site which was more expensive than typical hotel parking. Had to haul luggage to the garage to collect car after checking out. Receptionist allowed me free Internet access using the hotel's PC. Only 10 minutes walk into centre of Genoa, so location OK.

Family Hotel Balbi We have been accommodated from the holders, in one dependance of much poor one and not adapted the hotel. Already we had been in this Hotel and we were remained satisfied of the room

Family Hotel Balbi Good breakfast! Old tired hotel needing paint and mantenance. Entrance up three flights of stairs with no elevator. Hard to do with roller bags. It was close to the train station, which we needed. Sufficient for an overnight stay.

Family Hotel Balbi personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. camere arredate un po' retro, ma ampie e comode. neo: abbastanza rumoroso per il traffico (tram e motorini) che arriva in stanza a causa delle finestre vecchie.
