This modern 3 star hotel of 60 rooms is the ideal base for the discerning visitor to this most beautiful part of Italy. Situated high above the coast with a panorama over the whole of the Gulf of Salerno, it is only a ten-minute stroll from the centre of Amalfi.
By step you can get the beach of S. Croce whose waters are the clearest on the coast; restaurant and beach services available. Above all, however, "it is the careful and personal attention, which the De Luca family and staff of the Hotel dei Cavalieri offer you, the guest, which makes it truly the most welcoming hotel on the Costiera".
All the rooms are centrally heated and have private shower or bath and W.C., telephone, tv-set and many have balconies with seaview. Air conditioning and frigobar available in superior rooms. Rooms are also available in the hotel's three villas.
Breakfast is a splendid and plentiful Scandinavian-style buffet, available until late in the morning and throughout the day snacks and drinks are available.

Hotel Dei Cavalieri We were given a very nice room (terrasse, seaview) as an upgrade due to the fact that this room was available, although we acually booked and payed a standard room.

Hotel Dei Cavalieri We booked a twinroom and were given a double. We were offered a sea view room at a cost of €30 per night but there was no air conditioning and the ceiling fan was so noisy we couldn't have it on. Therefore very little sleep was enjoyed due to the heat. The ceiling in the bathroom was clearly falling down and really should have been fixed. There was no mini bar, although there was a fridge there wasn't anything in it although a price list was left in our room. Holiday was great but we wished we had picked a better hotel as this one spoilt it for us.

Hotel Dei Cavalieri The breakfast here is amazing. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. The location is good (a short, beautiful walk to the center) and there is a bus-stop right outside if you prefer. The rooms are very clean, albeit a little dated, but very comfy and for the reasonable rate you can't go wrong. Plus there are generous sized terraces overlooking the cliffs and water, pretty amazing.

Hotel Dei Cavalieri We booked a room with a balcony from wich you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Staff was so friendly and welcoming and food was great.

Hotel Dei Cavalieri Avevamo una camera con vista, molto confortevole e pulita. Lo staff ci accolto molto bene. E' stata una bella vacanza.

Hotel Dei Cavalieri Gli arredi della hall e degli spazi comuni e l'uso delle maioliche tipiche della zona rende molto gradevole l'ambiente, anche il solarium offre un magnifico panorama. Le stanze sono arredate più modestamente anche se decorose e molto pulite. Buono il servizio

Hotel Dei Cavalieri Ci sono alcune discrepanze tra quanto comunicato on line e l'effettiva condizione dell'albergo. Una fra tutte, viene segnalato il ristorante, mentre in realtà lo stesso è chiuso da almeno tre anni.
