A holiday spent at the historic Hotel Italia e Lido, an excellent three-star hotel, is a unique experience thanks to its enchanting location directly beside the sea coupled with its high quality, friendly service.
The hotel, situated on the promenade opposite Rapallo's Medieval Castle, and commanding breathtaking views of the Portofino Gulf, offers its guests fifty fully-renovated rooms, a private beach and the Grande Italia restaurant with its beautiful sea terrace.
The hotel strives to welcome its guests in as many ways possible: there are eight free parking spaces reserved for guests and a nearby garage at an extra charge, there is also internal parking for motorbikes and bicycles, a 24-hour bar, a card room, a TV room, and finally, for guests staying on business, there is an internet point, photocopiers and small meeting rooms.
All rooms are comfortable and have bathroom facilities, air conditioning or fans, television with Italian and foreign channels, external line telephone and hairdryer. All rooms have their own particular character, and many rooms have a balcony from where it is possible to enjoy stunning views across the Tigullio Gulf. Rooms are also available for smokers.
The Grande Italia restaurant which overlooks the promenade is open to its guests that can dine either inside or on the splendid sea terrace.
This panoramic restaurant is characterised by its impeccable service and refined gastronomy, making it the ideal place to pass time pleasantly, organize banquets and sample the typical products of Liguria. It is enjoyable to end the evening in the atmospheric wine bar Il Castello located on the rocks.

Hotel Italia E Lido Our room was in the funny little curved side of the hotel and looked like it had not been updated since the 1960's and was tiny. The bathroom and in particular, the shower was very difficult to use as the hand held shower head could not reach high enough to use as a shower and a step in the tub did not allow you to stand under it. The view was delightful on the balcony. Also breakfast was never open on time at 7:30 when we were trying to catch an 8 o'clock train every day. We received a good price on the room but I think there are very different rooms in this hotel and I am assuming the rooms in the main part are nicer.

Hotel Italia E Lido La gentilezza del personale è sicuramente il punto forte dell'hôtel. Bella anche la posizione su lungomare, davanti al castello. Purtroppo avevo una camera che guardava sulla strada e quindi ESTREMAMENTE rumorosa. L'altro "difetto" era il bagno di dimensioni MINUSCOLE. Per un soggiorno di 3 notti va bene e ci ritornerei anche solo per la cortesia e la disponibilità delle persone della reception e del ristorante.

Hotel Italia E Lido Ho trovato questo hotel pulito e anche ben organizzato. La sgnorina Barbara della ricezione era molto gentile e così pure la proprietaria che ringrazio. Non mi sono piaciuti affatto il buffet della colazione ed il ristorante che era vecchio. Da' l'impressione di un albergo vecchio ristrutturato. Perciò sono orribili ristorante e buffet di colazione, ma in rapporto con il prezzo e con la gentilezza delle persone, consiglierei l'hotel, specialmente con i prezzi che corrono. Se si potesse migliorare il buffet, se il servizio di internet fosse anche migliore, certo allora il giudizio sarebbe più positivo. Ciononostante sento di dover dire Grazie di cuore, siete stati gentili e questo basta, dato molto positivo, insieme con il prezzo.

Hotel Italia E Lido sehr schönes Hotel, in dem man die nötige Ruhe und ein sehr gutes Frühstück findet. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber.

Hotel Italia E Lido Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, welches immer hilfsbereit war. Das einzig Negative allgemein ist, dass es nur wenig Parkplätze beim Hotel gibt. Auf jeden fall aber eine Top-Adresse und sehr zu empfehlen

Hotel Italia E Lido Als wir das Hotel von außen sahen, sind wir erschrocken. Aber von innen waren wir begeistert. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, die Zimmer teilweise renoviert. Der Meerblick genial.
