Villa La Cappella dates back to the XII century. It stands on the historic Aliano hill, surrounded by a 7.000 square meter park filled with ancientcypress trees. You reach it in the heart of the picturesque Tuscany region, yet close to the cultural sighseeing of Florence, San Gimignano, Lucca and Siena you will find the Villa La Cappella".

In the 18th century a small chapel was built in the middle of the fortified Villa in Aliano park so, as was customary at that time, the family would have a suitable resting place for their deceased. In the course of the time, a larger house replaced the small chapel to provide living quarters for the overseer of the estate.

The Tinalli family purchased the property and, starting in 1988, have personally been renovating the buildings and grounds with passion and love. The result is La Capella Hotel and residence where attention to detail has become the guiding principle. That hallmark is revealed throughout-- in the care of its guests, in the authentic elegance of its furnishings, in choice of colours and materials that distinguish its incomperable interior and exterior decor.
