This 18th Century elegant nobleman’s residence is now a comfortable luxury hotel. After restoration the hotel rooms have reached an extremely  high degree of comfort whilst retaining its historical feel and elegance.

It is situated on a hill dominating the plains and the nearest town of Novi Ligure. It is completely surrounded by a lush park with plenty of leisurely walks. In fine weather a characteristic marquee is put up in the grounds, this is the ideal setting for wedding receptions and gala nights.

The rooms have all been furnished and decorated in an individual style, making each one unique. Standard rooms, junior suites and suites perfectly incorporate the characteristic elegance with the latest technology, to achieve an extremely high level of comfort. All rooms have air-conditioning, fridge, cable TV, direct dial phone, safe and hair dryer. Some also have a Jacuzzi.

The restaurant al cortese is one of the most elegant restaurants in the region. Widely known for the excellence of its cuisine, managed by the chef Duilio, it is an enticing venue for every kind of event, be it an intimate candlelight dinner, a business meeting, a gala dinner, a ceremony. Its rooms are elegantly furnished, with a special attention to detail. Open Monday to Sunday, both at lunch and at dinner, it is the ideal complement to a  stay at the hotel Relais Villa Pomela.

The Relais Villa Pomela is situated close to Novi Ligure, known locally as “chocolate town” due to a famous chocolate factory situated here. There are also numerous cultural and sporting events which take place in the area all year round ( Comune di Novi Ligure ).

For cycling lovers its known as the “Champions Town”, as both Coppi and Girardengo are from the area (Museo dei Campionissimi ).

The Relais Villa Pomela is a golf lovers paradise with three golf courses in the vicinity: Golf Villa Carolina , Capriata d'Orba (AL); Golf Colline del Gavi, Tassarolo (AL); Golf Margara, Fubine (AL).

For shoppers, Serravalle Scrivia, only 1.5km from the hotel, one of the largest designer outlet villages in Europe, the Serravalle Designer Outlet, has more than 150 different designer shops to keep you occupied.

Villa Pomela and the restaurant Al Cortese enjoy a privileged situation, close to the most important Italian northern towns, equally distant from Milan, Turin and Genoa. They can be easily reached from the A7 highway (Serravalle exit).

Serravalle Scrivia exit on the A7 MI – GE: from here take the SS 35bis towards Novi L.; after 5 km., before entering in town, on your left you'll find the access way to the Hotel and to the restaurant, that you'll see on the hill, only 600mt away.
